The Paddock RV Park
MORECLOSE
The park in late afternoon

Every site covered, and you can see all of them first.

A 16 × 40 cover over your rig and a 10 × 20 for a vehicle, with hook-ups at the post. Any size rig is welcome. Here's the whole place.

Under construction. The park is being finished now. We're taking reservations today and expect to open in about 40 days.

Will your rig fit?

Tell us your length when you call and we'll put you somewhere you don't have to think about it.

Rig lengthAny size. A rig up to 40 feet sits fully under the cover. Call with the length of anything longer and we'll put you on a site that suits it.
Covers16 × 40 over the RV and a separate 10 × 20 for a vehicle, so both are out of the sun.
Hook-upsElectric, water and septic at your own post, with the electric metered per site.
ParkingTwo vehicles, under the carport or directly in front of it, not protruding into the road.
Rig ageFifteen years or older needs management's approval. We're not fussy about a well-kept older rig.

What's here.

The things you use every day, all on site. The rest is a few minutes up the road.

Covered sites

A 16 × 40 cover over your RV and a 10 × 20 cover for a vehicle.

Internet

Park-wide Wi-Fi, quick enough to work from the rig.

Laundry on site

Machines here in the park, so you're not driving into town with a basket.

Electric, water & septic

All at your own post, with the electric metered per site so you pay for what you use.

Pet friendly

Leashed, picked up after, and no persistent barking. Bring your own bags.

Minutes from the water

Pecan Bayou is a short drive, and Lake Brownwood not much further.

Minutes from town

Early is right there and Brownwood a few minutes on. Groceries, parts, doctors.

Kept up, year round

The grounds are looked after and the place stays tidy. That's most of the job.

House rules, all of them.

Short list, kept short on purpose. It's mostly about looking after the place and each other.

Guests and family

Two people are included in your rate. Anyone beyond that is $5 a day per person aged six and up, and overnight visitors should be mentioned to us first. Only two vehicles per site.

Pets

Leashed whenever they're out, and picked up after, with your own bags. No aggressive breeds and no persistent barking. Don't walk them through anyone else's site, and pets aren't tied outside or kept in outdoor pens or kennels.

Fires, firearms and fireworks

None of the three, at any time of year. That includes BB, pellet and paintball guns, and it includes ground fires and fire pits, even on a still evening. If it burns or it shoots, it stays packed away.

Parking and other vehicles

Under the carport or directly in front of it, never protruding into the road. Two vehicles per site. No ATVs anywhere in the park, and motorcycles are for getting to and from your site only.

Grills

RV-attached grills, or a grill set outside the covered area. Nothing lit under the carport. Ashes go in the waste cans once they're cold, never tipped out on the ground or into the grass.

Flags, poles and windows

Nothing driven into the ground. There's electric, cable, water and sewer down there. Windows covered with curtains, shades or blinds only, so no foil, cardboard or fabric hung from the inside.

Washing and site upkeep

No washing rigs or vehicles in the park. Keep your site clear of loose gear and bagged trash, and rugs, mats and outdoor carpets need management's approval before they go down.

Internet, alcohol and quiet

Wi-Fi is for personal use, so no streaming for a whole household. Drunkenness and illegal substances aren't tolerated. Quiet hours run 10 pm to 8 am, and rigs don't move in or out during them.

The Paddock RV Park reserves the right to enforce these rules and to refuse or revoke service under Texas Penal Code 30.05(a). Violations may result in being asked to vacate the site.

Ask what's open.

Monthly sites turn over a few times a year. Call and we'll tell you where you stand.

Under construction, taking reservations now. Opening in about 40 days.
